Pulaski Theatre, founded in downtown Pulaski, Virginia in 1911, served as a vital part
of the area’s economy – first as a vaudeville house and later as a movie theatre. After thriving in the 1950s and 1960s, the Theatre experienced decline and, sadly, closed to the public in 1991.
The Friends of Pulaski Theatre
The Friends of the Pulaski Theatre is a volunteer, non-profit organization incorporated in 1993 for the sole purpose of restoring and returning the Theatre to operation. For the past few years the group has been working to restore and renovate the theatre so that it can be reopened to the public – and that goal is getting closer each day!
